Carrie M. Tackema
Ms. Tackema has broad expertise in the agricultural chemical industry, including experience in pesticide research, development, and registration. She is an accomplished regulatory affairs professional with over twenty years of experience.
Prior to joining the SciReg team, Ms.Tackema was a senior regulatory manager and strategic liaison to the turf and ornamental business with Nufarm Americas, Inc. She provided regulatory expertise and leadership, managed federal regulatory activities for a broad portfolio of conventional active ingredients and products and served as a member company representative for Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE). In addition, she was a regulatory manager at Cheminova, Inc. and Troy Corporation.
Ms. Tackema has substantial experience in strategy development and management of EPA registrations for pesticide products; data compensation analyses; coordinating and monitoring various studies; waiver rationales; and obtaining new technical and end-use product registrations. She has a history of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with federal and state regulatory agency officials.
Ms. Tackema earned her associates degree in business management at Centenary University.
