Marc C. Sheahin
Mr. Sheahin brings extensive expertise in regulatory affairs, with a specialized focus on pesticide registration. He provides expert guidance and support to SciReg clients on a wide range of regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with both federal and state laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the SciReg team, Mr. Sheahin served in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Registration Division, where he managed the registration of fungicide and herbicide products. During his tenure at the EPA, he developed strong cross-functional collaboration skills working closely with scientific, legal, and commercial teams. His experience spans a broad spectrum of regulatory actions, including new product registrations, new uses, and new active ingredients.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sheahin also supported the EPA’s Registration Division as a contractor, reviewing registration dossiers and ensuring they met all requirements for regulatory review.
Mr. Sheahin earned a bachelor of science in environmental science and studies from Towson University and a master of science in environmental biology at Hood College.
