EPA releases draft guidance to obtain “long-lasting” and “residual” effectiveness claims for antimicrobial products
On October 14, 2020, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released draft guidance that specifies efficacy testing requirements for supplemental residual antimicrobial products and residual disinfectants, the latter including products with claims against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
