On August 3, 2021, the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) announced plans to proceed with proposed pesticide product registration fee increases via emergency regulation. DPR is planning to keep new product registration fees and product amendment fees at $1,150 and $25, respectively; however, annual registration renewals will increase by 33% to $1,525.
